tribratanews.tribratanews.com - Around 144,000 joint personnel are ready to be deployed to secure the homecoming flow for Eid Al-Fitr in 2022.

The joint apparatus will also regulate and manage traffic engineering policies that have been made by the National Police (Polri). "We have deployed 144,000 personnel, from Polri and the relevant agencies," explained the National Police Chief of Traffic (Kakorlantas Polri), Inspector General Firman Santyabudi, Saturday (16/4/22).

Inspector General Firman Santyabudi said the various personnel would be deployed at several strategic points on the homecoming route during the Eid al-Fitr 1443 H holiday.

Kakorlantas Polri explained that the joint apparatus is expected to be able to make an adequate contribution in maintaining safety in the traffic. "Some at the rest area, and some are at the entry points before entering the toll road, and so on," he explained.

He ensures that one way and odd-even plan will be implemented. Traffic engineering is carried out with the aim of keeping the V-ratio of vehicles close to zero, so that the homecoming journey remains smooth.

"We tried to anticipate it with one way plan only to find the V-ratio is 0.8. That's still slow, and odd-even were added and the V-ration is at 0.4 or 0.6. We will continue to update this data, the smaller the number, the smoother it will be, "explained Kakorlantas.
